A common question we get is, "What size cabinet pulls should I buy for my long kitchen drawers?" We put together a simple graphic to help out.
Maybe you're the type of person who prefers to use math. Below are some rule of thumb formulas to achieve different effects.
Some other tips:
- If a group of cabinet drawers are stacked on top of one another and they all have the same width, but different heights, use the same length cabinet pull for all drawers.
- Most people will choose two or three different sizes to fulfill all their kitchen cabinet hardware needs. Even if you have 7 different sizes of cabinet doors and drawers, limiting yourself to three different sizes may help reduce visual clutter.
- Why go longer? The higher cost and greater use of material give off a high-class vibe. Furthermore, long cabinet pulls may be useful for heavier drawers that may require two hands to open them.
